d. From the displaying results, find your printer’s icon and then press right click on it. Then you have to choose Printer Properties.
e. Now move to the lower right of the dialogue and then click on Print test page button.
Windows 7-
a. Go to Start button and then choose Control Panel from the list of programs.
b. On the Control Panel window, choose Devices & Printers.
c. In next step, press right click on your “Dell laser printer” and then choose “Properties”.
d. Then, tap on option “Print a test page”. Once the test page is printed, hit OK.
Windows Vista -
a. Go to Start button > Control Panel > Printers.
b. Press right click on your printer’s icon and then choose Properties.
c. Click on option “Print a test page” and once the test page is printed, click on Close button.
Windows XP -
a. First, go to Windows Start button and then Control Panel.
b. Locate Printers and Faxes, press right-click on Dell laser printer and then select “Properties”.
c. Tap on function “Print test page” and once test page is printed, close the window.

6. Make sure that your Dell laser printer is set as default printer.
7. Press Windows and R key simultaneously and then type “shell: Printers Folder” in the search box and then hit OK.
